The hottest wedding cake trend is individualized mini wedding cakes! Really?
Now some industry sources are claiming that individualized mini wedding cakes are the hot new wedding cake trend for 2012. As you can see from these wedding cakes photos, this is a giant leap beyond a cupcake platter. These are actual wedding cakes, with fondant and tiers and sugar roses, just in miniature. The idea is that each one is a single serving of wedding cake, one per guest, instead of one big wedding cake from which guests are served slices.
